As a guest at the Knollhof Holiday Hotel, you will receive the Schladming-Dachstein Card free of charge. It is valid from May 14th to November 1st, 2026, and offers numerous free or discounted holiday experiences.

Hiking on Three Levels
Ramsau am Dachstein is one of Styria's most beautiful hiking regions and has been awarded the Austrian Hiking Seal of Approval. More than 200 kilometers of marked hiking trails lead across the sunny Ramsau plateau, through the Dachstein alpine pastures, and up into the impressive Dachstein mountain world.
On the high plateau, between 1,100 and 1,400 meters, you'll find leisurely walks, family-friendly circular hikes, and magnificent viewpoints. In the Dachstein alpine pastures, diverse trails lead to rustic mountain huts, working alpine pastures, and special panoramic viewpoints.
For those seeking higher altitudes, challenging mountain tours and some of Austria's most beautiful via ferratas can be found around the Dachstein.
Hiking Directly from the Knollhof
Many tours and walks can be started directly from the hotel. We are happy to personally assist you in selecting the perfect hike – from a leisurely stroll to an extended mountain tour.

Cycling and E-Biking
The Schladming-Dachstein region offers numerous mountain bike, e-bike, and leisurely cycling tours. From the Knollhof, you can easily access beautiful routes across the Ramsau Plateau, to the surrounding alpine pastures, and into the region's valleys.
With the Schladming-Dachstein Card, you can also use selected mountain lifts and public transportation, allowing you to plan your holiday with flexibility.
